Launch of new service
At Moncrieff, we like the environment. Just because we're dealing with products that are consuming large amounts of energy and consist of hazardous components, doesn't mean we don't care. We can't just dump obsolete equipment into landfill, nor is it feasable to keep storing old machines. So, to help out the environment, we have developed a new service called asset recovery; a pickup service to get rid of your old computer equipment in an environmentally friendly way. The costs are low and you may even be provided with a credit if your equipment can be recycled! We pick up any number of computers, starting from five units. Want to know more? Click here!

Making life a little easier at Kardinya Junior Football Club
At WJ Moncrieff, we like to get involved in helping a worthy cause. Such as the KJFC, a football club for the kids of Kardinya and surrounding suburbs. The club provides a safe and respectful environment for the kids to develop their football skills and foster personal development in the areas of sportsmanship, leadership and team work.
The club relies on its volunteers for the training and coaching of the kids, as well as the financial management of the club. As it was a nuisance for the volunteers to pass on club documents from one PC to another, the club was looking to get a notebook to unify its management. To make the volunteers’ lives a little easier, WJ Moncrieff decided to present the club with a notebook free of charge. The $700 that would have been spent on a laptop, will now go to purchasing footy equipment.
We, at WJ Moncrieff, are proud to be able to help the KJFC through the donation of a Lenovo laptop and supporting the club in the service that it provides to the Kardinya community.

e-safe education webinar 27th of July
IT Managers and principles of WA's schools are invited to attend an e-safe education breakfast seminar to learn more about our e-safe education software.
This software is specifically designed for schools and monitors the internet behaviour of students. e-safe education aims to protect students from harmful webcontent and allows schools to take action regarding cyber bullying.
Whilst we can't protect students at all times of the day, at least e-safe education will allow teachers and other education staff to keep an eye on their students' behaviour while at school.
From your desk, join us from 4pm on the 27th of July. Login details will be provided upon request.
For more information about this seminar and how to get the login details, please click here.

Changes in WJ Moncrieff’s business structure
WJ Moncrieff has changed its business structure as part of a succession plan that has been developed over the last 12 months.
“Over the 12 month period we have reviewed our structure and due to growth and a change in strategy we have created new roles to support the further development of our company. I am pleased to announce some important changes within our management team,” says Bill Moncrieff, Managing Director.
After longstanding service, WJ Moncrieff’s General Manager, Tim Davidson, and Sales Manager, John Moriarty, are leaving WJ Moncrieff to pursue other opportunities. Matthew Moncrieff has been appointed to the role of General Manager. Linda Tonkin is the Operations and Finance Manager and Karl Stanley has taken up the position of Services Manager.
The following new roles have been created and will be effective immediately; a new assistant accountant, Sandra Seen, has been employed and Jenny Brown in her role as Marketing Manager is responsible for WJ Moncrieff’s marketing activities.
John and Tim have been valued partners in Moncrieff’s for over 30 years and made an exceptional contribution in developing Moncrieff into a leading supplier of computer hardware and services in Western Australia. They will remain consultants to Moncrieff for a period of six months.
